MYRTLE strength is to create awareness on various social issues thru Puppet. Over a period Myrtle has come up with projects that can serve community under education, Health care, social and economic welfare of the underprivileged.

The Myrtle Social Welfare Network is a group of three families (in India) collaborate in order to strengthen the social, emotional, and economic competencies of disadvantaged children, women and youth in India, and provide them with a sense of self-worth and with the opportunities to experience a full range of life options through self-empowerment, education and training.
MYRTLE was founded by Ms. Saral Shanthini, a professional Medical & Psychiatry social worker and a right based Activist. The MYRTLE concept is her brainchild, and it is her vision that has created its distinctive holistic approach to helping vulnerable and disadvantaged children, women and youth to achieve self-awareness, self-determination and self-sufficiency in modern Indian society.
